Get to Goal Mississippi
The American Heart Association, the National Baptist Convention, USA, Incorporated’s (NBCUSA) H.O.P.E. Health and Human Services Partnership and the Original North Mississippi Baptist State Congress of Christian Education are launching Get to Goal Mississippi. The initial launch is from 10:30 am – 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 20 – Power to End Stroke Sunday in conjunction with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church’s Homecoming Celebration at 1190 W. Oak Grove Road, Hernando, MS 38632. Pastor CJ Thomas is host. The general public and other churches are invited to have their blood pressures checked and to learn about the initiative, which will officially launch in other churches in Northwest Mississippi on June 3.
